Ghost hunting just got sexy.
It's no secret amongst the Phantoms crew that lead investigator Sammy Hanesworth pretty much hates psychologist Cain McClutchen. The tension between them is taut with dislike...and unexpected attraction. Cain knows full well that something about him rubs Sammy the wrong way. But now they're on a terrifying case-with orders from the network to get along or else.Filled with past horrors, the Nebraskan site is more than creepy. And Sammy knows it all too well. It's her hometown and near the place where her mother was killed. As the sinister presence makes itself known, Sammy finds herself turning to the last person she ever expected-Cain. Even as darkness surrounds them, tensions gives way to something bright and unexpectedly intimate. But nothing will prepare them for the evil they are about to face...
The safest place is with the guy she doesn't trust...

Yet another damn creepy (but highly entertaining) read in what looks to be the last of the Phantoms series.

The case this time is personal, as Sammy Hanesworth soon finds out. The events and scars locked so tightly behind those walls of hers start to bleed out when it becomes clear that something else is after her this time around and the only person whom she can turn to is her Cain – the new guy who from the start, has been relegated to enemy status. I was itching for Cain’s and Sammy’s antagonistic relationship to take a turn and Ghost of You promised that switch…and more than I’d ever expected when a desecrated church, the bloodbath of yesteryears, a school fire and an accident-prone area come together in an enthralling puzzle waiting to be put together by the Phantoms team. I frowned in scepticism in places – the combination of rites and rituals from paganism and catholicism didn’t just take with me – and laughed in others, but generally rooted for Cain and Sammy to scale that wall of pain together as they fought the evil within and without.

A Catherine Award-Winning Book from Bestselling Author Kelly Moran!
The ghosts of her family's estate on the coast of Maine never troubled Ava Trumble. When she finally inherits the historic mansion, however, there's a small string attached: Ava has exactly one year to solve a 200-year-old mystery of a missing girl, or lose her family's home...The lead investigator for paranormal TV show Phantoms, Jackson Granger, is prepared for any metaphysical encounter—until now. It's not just the uncanny sense of "coming home" or even his reaction to the fiery redhead who seems to consume his every waking thought. No, it's that the ghosts are using Jackson and Ava's attraction to play out a centuries-old tragedy. Heartbreak. Loss. Overwhelming passion. Now Jackson and Ava must determine if they're sharing something real...or if they've been possessed by a love that never died.
It might be love…but will they survive the night?

A ghostly, tragic love story of the 18th century comes to light when the crew of reality tv-series Phantoms visits the Trumble Mansion but what Ava Trumble doesn’t expect is the hard and fast connection to Jackson, the show’s charismatic leader. But something else is at stake here too: the mansion, which Ava is desperately trying to keep in the family’s hands and her strong ties to home and heritage are exactly what Jackson has been running away from all his life.

I lost loads of sleep over this one, drawn in by Kelly Moran’s persuasive writing. Even though I could never really change my mind about Jackson being a phony cad, Ava’s strength of character amazed me where I would have been creeped out at every turn at every ghostly happening. It’s hard to fully get on board with the relationship when so much of it seems to be driven by lust and because I typically despise male characters who roam with no commitment, I particularly loved Ava’s unwavering stance on what she stood for.

And yes, Phantoms turned out overall, to be unexpectedly brilliant. As soon as the last page was turned, I jumped straight into the beginning pages of the second book, eager for Kerry and Paul to get their own spooky ever after.

A paranormal category romance from Entangled's Covet imprint...
Sometimes the only way to find love is to face death...
Paranormal investigator Kerry Baker has seen it all. But nothing in her work with the Phantoms team prepares her for the most terrifying ghost of all-seeing her doppelganger. Rumored to be a foreshadowing of one's death, the spectre shakes Kerry to the core...sending her into the arms of her best friend and fellow Phantom cast member, Paul Leake, for comfort.

Until a kiss changes everything.

Paul has been in love with Kerry for ages, unwilling to compromise their friendship. As their investigation in a ghost town grows more intense, however, so does the chemistry between Paul and Kerry. With her life in danger and their jobs on the line, giving into their attraction couldn't be a worse idea-and yet they can't bring themselves to stop it. Even if it kills her...

In more things that go bump in the night, Kelly Moran explores the incredibly creepy issue of the Doppelgänger in Paul’s and Kerry’s story. I think I must have speed-read the whole book with my jaw hanging open the whole time, in thrall of the paranormal activities in the ghost town as well as the painful but rewarding road to happiness for Paul and Kerry. Loved the set-up for Cain and Sammy (at least it appears to be!) and I’m now quivering in anticipation for what she’s got up her sleeve next.
