Maddie McCarthy is single, between jobs, and (oh, the shame) lives with her mother. To make matters worse, she's the maid of honor for her sister's wedding, and desperately needs a date. Then she sees her salvation-Match Made Easy, a service for women in Maddie's exact position. If she can't find a boyfriend, she'll do the next best thing...
Hire one.
Trent Montgomery isn't actually part of Match Made Easy. He's just doing a favor for his cousin, but one look at the blonde who hired him, and he's totally hooked. Now Maddie thinks that the attraction sizzling between them is just "part of the package." And Trent is running out of time to prove to her that her date-for-hire might just be her happily-ever-after...

When life has served lemons, Maddie turns it into lemonade by resorting to hiring a date for her sister’s wedding…with disastrous results. Trent Montgomery gets the gig as a favour for his cousin and her escort firm by chance and it starts off on the wrong foot, because Maddie only remembers the shallow, popular football player in high school and uses that standard to judge his every move. It only takes 4 days, but by the end of it, both are willing to give the fake relationship a chance, or at least until the lies they’ve told each other and themselves get the better of the good thing they’ve gotten going.

Wedding Date for Hire is an easy, funny read especially in the humour-filled beginning, even if it got entirely predictable by the middle bit of it. I enjoyed the witty banter and the comic timing in the dialogues, and tried to ignore the total-resolution happy ending that was a little too large a helping of cheese.
